FAQs

What should I do to prepare my skin for a wax body treatment?

Proper skin prep and aftercare is a good waxing practice and is essential to have a positive waxing experience.  It’s best to lightly exfoliate the skin one-two days before a wax treatment with a gentle scrub, brush, mitt, or loofah to remove dead skin cells that surround the hair follicle.  Always start your waxing session with freshly washed skin. Scrub up with a mild soap to remove any germs, sweat, oil, or other residue.  Be sure to apply after care to the newly waxed skin for best results.

How long should hair be for a wax treatment?

The hair always needs to be at least a quarter inch to be waxed, hair that’s too long can make waxing more complicated and painful.

Does the studio have Covid-19 sanitation guidelines?

Yes, we ask that clients sanitize their hands when entering our studio, and or wash hands before we begin the treatment. We will screen clients before a treatment. If you are not feeling well, please reschedule your appointment or we are happy to connect online or by phone. We can change your appointment to a Facial Fitness consultation and adjust or replenish your daily skin care regimen to keep it in tip-top shape. If your skin care products are running low, we will ship them free of charge.

We go above and beyond State Board sanitation guidelines, and strictly follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organizing (WHO), and local and national health organizations. Your health and safety is our top priority.

Should I book in advance?

We highly recommend booking services at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure your preferred time and service will be available.  Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or injuries so that we may accommodate your needs. Please contact the Studio directly.

What happens if I’m unable to keep my appointment?

We kindly request you give us 24-hour notice on any service cancellations or changes.  A 50% fee will be applied to all appointments that are cancelled within a 24-hour period of the appointment time.  However, if you are not feeling well, please change your appoint to a phone or virtual consultation so we can assess your skin care needs and ship skin care products to you. Or reschedule.

What is the studio etiquette?

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. We are by appointment only, if the studio door is locked, please wait in your vehicle or outside until you see the “welcome, come in” sign on the door.  This means we are ready to receive you and will begin the scheduled treatment.  In order to honor each guest’s experience, late arrivals will only receive time remaining of their appointment.
